Best power dialers · 2026

The best power dialers for cold calling.

Our pick for most cold calling teams is the CallCloud Power Dialer: one line at a time, unlimited US and Canada calling, voicemail drop, local caller ID, CRM write-back, one seat is fine, month to month. We publish this guide ourselves, so we name CallCloud only where it honestly wins, and we point to competitors where it does not.

[ 04 ] // How we picked

Five checks before you buy a power dialer.

Mode
a power dialer calls one prospect at a time, so the rep is on the call rather than waiting on a handoff. We separated power, parallel and predictive products before comparing, because a vendor that says "power" loosely may sell a different machine.
Seat floor
the lowest license price is not the lowest usable cost. Orum's nine-seat minimum and Five9's 50-seat minimum rule out most small teams, so we compared the minimum a buyer must actually commit to.
Published price
we used figures the vendors publish, read in October 2026, and we flag quote-only pricing rather than guessing a number.
Included calling
unlimited can mean US and Canada only, specific countries, or fair use. We checked what the allowance covers before counting it as a cost saving.
Feature reality
local presence can be automatic area-code matching or just a local number you buy. We verified which mechanism each vendor documents.

That gives a two-question test you can reuse on any dialer: what mode does it dial in, and what is the real floor of seats and contract to get it. A rep-quality cold calling team wants power mode and a floor of one. A high-volume team may accept a higher floor for parallel lines. A contact center needs predictive, which is a different purchase entirely.

[ 05 ] // The dialers

Each one, in a paragraph.

CallCloud Power Dialer

Our own dialer. One line at a time: finish a call, drop a voicemail or skip, and the next prospect dials itself. One-click voicemail drop with greeting and screener detection, local caller ID, AI notes, pre-call research briefs and recording are included, along with unlimited US and Canada calling at $60 per seat per month, month to month, one seat minimum. One click in Settings switches the same seat to five lines. See the product page or book a demo.

PhoneBurner

A one-line power dialer with unlimited US and Canada calling and automatic Local Presence that picks a matching number from your inventory. Standard is $165 monthly or $140 billed annually, read October 23, 2026. PhoneBurner says it is not a multi-line dialer, which suits reps who want to stay on the call.

Kixie

Single-line and multi-line power dialing, up to four lines on the Multi-Line plan card, with unlimited US and Canada minutes, ConnectionBoost local presence and voicemail drop. Pricing is quote-only; the vendor's own information page says per-seat prices are not public. Best for teams that want to stay inside their existing CRM.

JustCall

A business phone platform whose Pro plan includes a one-line power dialer; its SalesPro tier adds predictive dialing with up to 10 lines at a custom quote. Local Presence on Pro matches US and Canada area codes. Pro is $49 per user billed annually with a two-user minimum; the monthly price was not verified.

Close

A CRM with a built-in power dialer, calling to nearly 200 countries, one-click voicemail drop and purchased local numbers. Calling is metered at cost, about $0.02 per minute for most outbound calls. Growth is $109 monthly or $99 billed annually. The right pick only when replacing the CRM is part of the decision.

Aircall

A shared business phone system with a sequential power dialer, documented voicemail drop and automatic local presence that matches area codes (released June 2026). Professional is $50 per license billed annually with a three-license minimum and unlimited domestic US and Canada calls. Better than CallCloud for teams that also need inbound and SMS in one system.

CloudTalk

A phone platform whose Expert plan includes power dialing, with a separate parallel add-on up to 10 lines. Local presence selects a number by destination country, and calling covers US and Canada or listed European domestic routes. Expert is EUR 69 monthly or EUR 49 billed annually, three-user minimum. The right shortlist entry for international outbound.

Orum

Power dialing plus up to five parallel lines, unlimited dials on paid plans, a published median connect time of 0.7 seconds, and detection across 20+ languages. Pricing is quote-only with a nine-seat minimum, so it fits established SDR organizations, not small teams.

Nooks

Parallel dialing plus a coaching environment: call blitzes, shadowing, live feedback and number rotation, with a five-line configuration documented. Pricing, seat minimum and calling allowance are all quote-only, and International Smart Presence matches numbers by country as a paid add-on. Best when coaching and team workflow matter as much as dial volume.

Mojo

Single-line and triple-line dialing with a lead manager, unlimited minutes and month-to-month billing. Every account needs an Agent Access license ($10 per user), so a single-line dialer costs an effective $99 per month. The pick for real estate prospecting and solo agents, including users of GoHighLevel through an API Nation middleware connection.

BatchDialer

Predictive dialing with three lines on Starter and five on Pro and Enterprise, bundled numbers, and Smart Local Presence on Pro and Enterprise. Annual-billing equivalents displayed as $95 Starter, $151 Pro and $199 Enterprise per agent, read October 2026; month-to-month prices were not verified. A real estate and high-volume prospecting alternative to Mojo.

Five9

Enterprise contact-center dialing: predictive, power, progressive and preview modes, plus routing and reporting. Core is $159 per concurrent seat per month with a 50-seat minimum, and usage charges may apply. This is the honest answer when the question is really a contact-center question, and CallCloud does not compete there: we do not build predictive dialing for large contact centers, IVR or inbound routing.

[ 06 ] // FAQ

Questions, answered.

What is the best power dialer?+

For most teams cold calling the US and Canada, the CallCloud Power Dialer: $60 per seat per month with unlimited calling, voicemail drop, local caller ID and CRM write-back, from a single seat, month to month. It dials one prospect at a time and starts the next number itself when you hang up, drop a voicemail or skip. Teams of nine or more seats, or teams that also need inbound and SMS, will often get a better fit from Orum or Aircall respectively.

What is the best power dialer for SDRs?+

It depends on the size of the team. For a small team or a single SDR, the CallCloud Power Dialer covers the core job: unlimited US and Canada dials with voicemail drop, local caller ID, AI notes and pre-call research briefs, from one seat. For an established outbound team of at least nine seats, Orum publishes power and up to five-line parallel dialing with unlimited dials, at quote-only pricing. Nooks is worth a quote when live coaching and a shared sales floor are part of how the team works.

What is the best power dialer for cold calling?+

The CallCloud Power Dialer, for quality-first cold calling: one line at a time means the rep is on the call the moment a human answers, and the next call starts itself on hang up. PhoneBurner is a credible alternative for the same one-line workflow at $165 per month on Standard, with unlimited US and Canada calling and automatic Local Presence. If your cold calling is volume-driven rather than conversation-driven, a parallel dialer, including CallCloud's own five-line Parallel Dialer at $125 per seat, fits better.

What is the best power dialer for small business?+

If the small business needs outbound calling only, the CallCloud Power Dialer at $60 per seat per month, with no seat minimum and month-to-month billing, is the simplest fit. If it also needs a shared phone system with inbound and SMS, Aircall Professional is the better fit: $50 per license billed annually, a three-license minimum, a documented power dialer, voicemail drop and automatic local presence. JustCall Pro ($49 per user billed annually, two-user minimum) is a second option in that category.

What is the best power dialer for a solo sales rep?+

The CallCloud Power Dialer, at $60 per seat per month with a one-seat minimum and month-to-month billing, so a solo rep pays for exactly one seat with no annual contract. PhoneBurner also sells individual plans, Standard at $165 monthly or $140 billed annually, with no published seat minimum. Mojo Single Line is a real estate option at an effective $99 per month once the required Agent Access license is added.

Which power dialer has local presence dialing?+

Automatic area-code matching is documented for PhoneBurner Local Presence, Kixie ConnectionBoost, JustCall Local Presence, Aircall Local Presence (Professional, released June 2026), Dialpad, BatchDialer Smart Local Presence (Pro and Enterprise), PowerDialer.ai and Aloware (whose local presence package is listed at $300 per month). CallCloud includes a local number with local caller ID on every seat, with caller ID rotation across a pool of local numbers. CloudTalk and Nooks match numbers at the country level, and Mojo, Orum, RingCX and Five9 sell or provide local caller IDs where automatic matching was not verified.

Which power dialer has voicemail drop?+

CallCloud, PhoneBurner, Kixie, JustCall, Close, Aircall, CloudTalk, Allo, Orum, Nooks, Mojo, BatchDialer and Aloware all document a prerecorded voicemail drop: a recorded message left when an outbound call reaches an answering machine. In CallCloud it is one click, and the dialer detects greetings and screeners itself. Dialpad, PowerDialer.ai and Five9 advertise voicemail features, but the research did not establish the same prerecorded drop mechanism for all three, so we do not claim it for them.

Power dialer vs parallel dialer: which should my sales team use?+

Use a power dialer if your reps want context between calls: one prospect at a time, time to read the brief and log the outcome before the next dial. Use a parallel dialer if your team needs volume: the software dials several numbers at once (CallCloud up to five) and connects the rep to whoever answers. Many parallel dialers add a pause between the answer and the rep; CallCloud's joins in a median 22 ms, and its other lines keep ringing until the rep connects, then go back into the queue. CallCloud sells both, and a Power Dialer seat switches to five lines in Settings, prorated, so a team can start on one line and move without changing vendors.
