Spam labels are made of short calls.
Carriers do not listen to your calls. They score your numbers on patterns: how many calls a number places, how many get answered, how many draw complaints, and how long the answered ones last. The strongest tell is the call that gets answered and ends a few seconds later. That is what a robocall looks like from the network side.
It is also exactly what a parallel dialer with a pause on pickup produces all day. The prospect answers, hears 1 to 3 seconds of nothing while the software decides whether they are human, says hello twice, and hangs up. Your number collects one more short call. Enough of those and the label goes on, answer rates collapse, and the rep starts asking why nobody picks up anymore.

A CallCloud rep sits on a live audio bridge for the whole session. There is no bridging step after pickup, so there is nothing for the prospect to wait through.
No listening window
We never run answering-machine detection on a live pickup. Nothing analyzes the first seconds of the call before you are allowed in, because you are already in.
So nobody hangs up
A prospect who hears a human on the first syllable stays on. A prospect who hears silence says hello twice, hangs up, and that four-second call is what gets numbers labeled.

Zero lag removes the biggest source of short calls. Volume and complaints can still catch up with any number, so the standard defenses run underneath, included in every seat.
Number rotation
Spread dials across a pool of local numbers instead of hammering one caller ID. Cycle any number for a fresh one in the same area code on a schedule.
Daily dial caps
Every number has a per-day cap, 75 by default, so volume never spikes on a single number.
Answer-rate monitoring
Per-number answer rates are tracked continuously. A number whose rate collapses is rested automatically and returned after a cooldown.
Spam-label monitoring
Numbers are checked against a third-party spam-reputation feed. A labeled number is pulled from rotation before it drags your connect rate down.

How do you measure early hang-ups?+
We take every pickup that reached a rep and count the ones where the other side hung up within six seconds of the carrier's answer event. Over the last 90 days that was 2.6%. The deep dive has the full method.
What makes carriers label a number as spam?+
Call patterns. Heavy volume from one number, low answer rates, complaints, and above all short calls where the person answers and hangs up straight away. A parallel dialer with a pause on pickup generates those short calls by design.
Do you use answering machine detection?+
Not to decide who you talk to. Nothing listens to the call before you are connected. You are on the line the instant the call is answered, and you decide what it was.
Can a CallCloud number still get flagged?+
Yes. Any number that dials enough will eventually pick up a complaint. The difference is how often it happens, and what happens next: rotation, caps, and monitoring rest a number the moment it shows a symptom.
Is 'lowest of any parallel dialer' a lab result?+
It is our claim, based on our own measured rates and the architecture that produces them. We have not found a parallel dialer that publishes comparable figures. If you have one, we will put ours next to theirs.
